Tankard

Tankard est un groupe de thrash metal qui existe depuis 1982. Leur premier album Zombie attack est sorti en 1986. Leurs textes sont principalement centrés autour de l'alcool, et en particulier de la bière. Ils sont fiers de leur origine allemande et particulièrement de Francfort-sur-le-Main dont ils sont originaires. Une de leur chanson symbole est la chanson Empty tankard où on peut entendre les paroles suivantes Frankurt's thrasher will rule tonight. (Les thrasher de Francfort vont régner ce soir.)
